Nicole In Your Neighborhood: Summer Shopping at Carmel City Center

#ShopLocal at Carmel City Center!

For nearly seven years, I have resided in Carmel, Indiana. As I’ve spent time exploring my community, one of my favorite places to visit has always been (and will always be) the Carmel City Center! Located at the southwest corner of Rangeline Road and City Center Drive (126th Street), this one-stop-shop is the prime spot to shop local! . From award-winning dining experiences to unlimited retail therapy opportunities and so much more, each day can be full of unique experiences at the Carmel City Center. Plus, all these fabulous local businesses are within walking distance of one another at this vibrant, outdoor shopping destination that truly has something for everyone.

Come join me as I visit my favorite marketplace of independently owned shops, restaurants, and entertainment options at the one and only Carmel City Center!

Hotel Carmichael: I started my day off in the beautiful Hotel Carmichael where the selfie opportunities were endless! Hotel Carmichael, an Autograph Collection Hotel,  is Carmel City Center’s boutique hotel featuring 122 rooms and 5,000 square feet of meeting space.

Manele Café: My tastebuds are singing after this acai bowl from Manele Café. A Hawaiian inspired café, Manele Cafe offers a health-forward menu of salads and rice bowls, sandwiches and wraps. Breakfast is served all day with options such as Acai bowls, French Toast, Avocado Toast, breakfast bowls and skillets as well as a Build your Own Acai Bowl option.

317Home offers a wide selection of Annie Sloan products available for purchase including paints, waxes, and brushes.  Guests are even able to purchase fully restored furniture with the Annie Sloan finish or join in-studio workshops to learn decoupage, molding, transfer, and other restoration techniques using their own furniture pieces.

Fun Fact– This Annie Sloan paint called Henrietta from 317Home was requested by Princess Kate for Charlotte's nursery!

Julie Browning Bova Design: A full-service design firm specializing in assisting clients with everything from design specifications, conceptualizing, design schematics as well as home furnishings and accessories. Check out this fun friend in their retail section! There are so many stunning pieces at Julie Browning Bova Design.

Hey Little Diddle BABY offers unique take-home outfits and organic layettes, a large variety of beautifully illustrated storybooks and board books, eco-friendly gifts, and more! This store was so cute that it almost made me want another baby, HA!

Hey Little Diddle CHILD offers gifts and designer clothing from sustainable, ethical brands for children up to 7 years old. There are so many adorable outfits at Hey Little Diddle CHILD. I may have left this cute little shop with an entire new wardrobe for my youngest son Luke!

MY SALON Suite: Of course, I stopped in for a quick touch-up at MY SALON Suite! Did you know this gorgeous building features 27 single suites and one double suite option? It's truly a stylist's dream where they can design their own suite from start to finish.

The Shop: I found my friend IndyCar driver Conor Daly at The Shop! This store is jam-packed with Hoosier pride from a wide selection of t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, glassware and tumblers!

Stretch Zone: After a long day of getting my steps in, the wonderful team at Stretch Zone made me feel like a completely new person! Utilizing their patented equipment, Stretch Zone practitioners follow specific methods and protocols to properly position, stabilize, isolate, and manipulate muscles. While traditional stretching methods attempt to make you more “flexible,” Stretch Zone works to adjust the stretch reflex. This way, the Stretch Zone Method® gradually increases your active range of motion.

Megan Danielle Skincare: I ended my day full of fun and activities by relaxing to the fullest extent. Megan Danielle Skincare gave me a facial that made my face look glowy and feel buttery smooth.
